The meetings begin with general news and art information. We break for a cuppa and a chance to view member paintings brought in for viewing. This is followed by a demonstration by a visiting artist which vary from well known local artists and internationally recognized artists.
PAINTING CAMPS A number of camps are organized throughout the year to Rottnest and other venues. These are a fantastic opportunity to get to know your fellow members in a relaxing environment.
EXHIBITIONS A juried exhibition, the Awards of Excellence, is held every year at Atwell Gallery. Paintings are also exhibited in some of Melville Community Art Association's (MCAA) exhibitions held at the Gallery. During the year members also exhibit at venues such as Bracks Library, and member organised venues and co-opted exhibitions at various locations.
